Members, our economy has potential to grow and create jobs if we tap into the reservoir of talents and skill available among our women and youth, who are the majority. To do this, the Government, through this Budget and into the medium term, is addressing the challenges along the business value-chain faced by this group, which include, among others, lack of access to markets, expensive and inadequate energy, costly transport, insecurity, lack of legal services and access to credit challenges. Similarly, women and the youth suffer inadequate skills and lack of business knowledge. view
