Allow me to start by defining disability as restrictions in the types of activities and social participation that an individual can perform as a result of physical or mental impairment or conditions of longstanding duration within an environment that does not provide sufficient accommodation to facilitate participation. view

The purpose of this narrative is to highlight the malfunction nature of disability among people with SCD, which includes physical, psychological and social dimensions.
