• 6 May 2021 in National Assembly: South from Gatanga, Kandara, Kigumo to Maragua constituencies, we are almost at 200,000 mark. Therefore, we deserve to get more constituencies. Kangema and Mathioya are some of the two constituencies which would have been merged if the BBI was not there. view
• 6 May 2021 in National Assembly: As I support the Bill, I want to remind the House that people are the creators of the IEBC. It should be in charge of elections and boundaries. We have the power given by the people. The people have the sovereign power to say where they want an additional constituency. Therefore, our role in the House is to agree with the people who have the sovereign power. The IEBC is not superior to the power of the people. view
• 6 May 2021 in National Assembly: As I support the Bill, I pray that one day I will sit in this House when we have Cabinet Secretaries coming from this House because the management of the ministries has been difficult when we have Cabinet Secretaries who are not voted by the people and therefore have no feelings on the priorities of the people. view
