When purchasing drugs over the counter, our patients need to have prescriptions from their doctors. If this Bill is implemented, it will help the patients not to use wrong medication. It is important for the drugs stores owners to also request for prescription before they sell any medication to patients. I beg to support. Thank you. view

Frequent tribal conflicts in Marsabit and Isiolo counties have caused a lot of deaths and livestock has been taken away from our people. This has contributed to increased poverty rates. We have many orphans and widows due to the frequent tribal conflicts in our counties. We used to have National Police Reservists and KPR. The service of KPR has been withdrawn yet they used to take care of our people, give us security at the village and locational level. This harmful practice affects women in many different ways. It leads to infection, severe bleeding, and problem in urinating, child-birth complications and increased risk of new- born deaths. This practice should be completely abolished because there is zero benefit from it.
