Temporary Deputy Chairman, many a times, it is very difficult for, say, the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP), the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) or the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) to have evidence so that it can investigate somebody who is suspected to be involved in corruption. What normally happens is that if you are suspected on reasonable grounds that you are involved in corruption, then you should be investigated and not on the basis of evidence. • 30 Nov 2016 in National Assembly: What we seek to do is that with regard to issues of bribery, the CS responsible for it is the Minister for Justice. For the time being it is the Attorney-General but if we are going to have a minister then it should be the Minister for Justice. I thank you. view
