  • 23 May 2007 in National Assembly: Order, Mr. Onyancha! The amendments can come in the middle of the presentations or any time during that time. But it has to be done within the time. We have already come that far. I had called the Government Responder. It was at that point that we developed this problem. We need to come back to it at that particular point. Hopefully, the consultations will have yielded something at that time. view
  • 23 May 2007 in National Assembly: Next Order! IMPROVEMENT OF EDUCATION STANDARDS IN MARGINALIZED REGIONS view
  • 23 May 2007 in National Assembly: Order, Dr. Shaban! Did you read out the whole Motion? view
  • 23 May 2007 in National Assembly: Sorry, but I did not hear you go through "a", "b" and "c" of the Motion. Did you? view
  • 23 May 2007 in National Assembly: All right! Proceed! view
  • 23 May 2007 in National Assembly: As you can see, the Front Bench is completely empty. No Minister is around. There is nothing that the Chair can do to bring the Minister here. It is, of course, good practice that when an hon. Member is moving a Private Motion, that there is a Government side to respond. Hopefully, since she is just moving the Motion, somebody representing the Minister will be here. I hope so. While she is moving the Motion, the Government Chief Whip should try and ensure that somebody, at least, from the Government side, is here. view
  • 23 May 2007 in National Assembly: They are not obligated, but it is good practice if they were here. Proceed, Dr. Shaban! view
  • 23 May 2007 in National Assembly: Order! I would like to know whether it is well understood by every hon. Member when you refer to marginal areas. Does every hon. Member understand "marginal areas?" view
  • 23 May 2007 in National Assembly: We are talking about areas here! view
  • 23 May 2007 in National Assembly: Your time is up! view
