  • 6 May 2021 in Senate: May I ask Members to conscientiously make the decision. “Conscientious” because many people accuse Members of Parliament of various things, as though their conscience does not matter here. I believe when people voted or parties nominated Senators to come to this House, they did so knowing the quality of people coming to this House. Therefore, casting aspersions will not help. I believe that Members in this House are credible and will make a decision based on their conscience, and they we will make a decision. view

  • 28 Apr 2021 in Senate: Mr. Speaker, Sir, I want to agree with hon. Members that this a very important and special Sitting with far reaching impact. The only difference that I want to make is that when you allocate time for coming back, the lawyers can come back early and the rest of us can come later in order to give them a head start. I propose you go ahead and make a decision for us and we come back. view
  • 28 Apr 2021 in Senate: Mr. Speaker, Sir, as I go to move this Motion, let me advise on my side that we keep social distance. At the back, I do not see social distance being observed. view

  • 28 Apr 2021 in Senate: Mr. Speaker, Sir, we need to rewrite our own rules so we know when it is a point of order, a point of request or something like that because there is a lot of misuse on the points of order. view
