• 12 Jul 2006 in National Assembly: Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, that is not an answer because this Question has been asked in the House for the third time, and we were told that the Ministry was awaiting the Report to lay it on the Table. Today, the Assistant Minister has said that arrangements are underway to lay the Report on the Table. How long does it take for that Report to be laid on the Table? view
• 12 Jul 2006 in National Assembly: Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, you have heard the Assistant Minister say that it is now eight years since the Commission was formed, and yet its Report has not been released. About 26 children perished in that inferno. What recommendations did that Commission make? Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, could the Assistant Minister undertake that within a certain period, she will be in a position to lay the Report on the Table? Eight years is a long period. We want to know the terms of reference of that Commission and the recommendations it made. view

It is not fair for her to come and give us this answer when she had sought three weeks' extension. We are dealing with members of the public and we should, at least, give some answers.
