• 9 Oct 2024 in Senate: Thank you, Mr. Speaker, Sir. My question to the Prime Cabinet Secretary is regarding the dual citizenship. It is clearly enshrined in the Constitution that people are entitled for dual citizenship, but it has proved to be very difficult if a Kenyan from the diaspora is requesting for citizenship here in our country. It is more expensive than getting a citizenship outside in the foreign country. I do not know what measures the Ministry is putting to ensure that our Kenyans who are outside the country are entitled to their constitutional right by acquiring dual citizenship. In the statement, the committee should- (1) Detail measures the Government has implemented to provide alternative means of transportation, such as the deployment of Kenya Navy rescue boats, in response to the limitations of small private boats, which have proven unsafe, as highlighted by incidents like the Madogo boat accident on the Tana River. • 30 Apr 2024 in Senate: Thank you, Mr. Temporary Speaker, Sir, for giving me this opportunity to support this Bill. We all know that this House is in charge of devolution. Devolution is working. If we continue protecting it jealously, it will even work better for our people. There are some governors misappropriating funds. However, this should not be a reason for us to punish all governors because of one or two mistakes of individual governors. We are supposed oversight county governments.
