Madam Temporary Deputy Speaker, I have a letter from the Provincial Commissioner saying that the file was destroyed. I do not understand under what circumstances a file which was supposed to be kept until the person is paid pension was destroyed more than 15 years late. I am not able to explain that fact. Madam Temporary Deputy Speaker, 29 years ago is a long time. It is extremely unlikely that the Treasury as it is constituted today has the capacity to recreate the file. We want to help this person get his pension. He has already assisted me with part of the information. I am requesting that if he has more information, that he supplies it to me. If he does not have more information, we will forward whatever I have and try to pursue the Treasury, the Pension Department, to pay.

Madam Temporary Deputy Speaker, a number or DCsâ who were working in 1980s are probably not alive. Let us be very practical. Let us just have the information. If he does not have the information, I will use the information he has already give me to try and persuade the Treasury to pay.

Mr. Speaker, Sir, could the Assistant Minister confirm that M/s. Comply, M/s. Timsales and M/s. Raiply are one and the same thing practising monopoly in this country? The Government locked out companies which were doing value-addition to wood, including Elgeyo Saw Mills, Ply and Panel Mills and Super Ply Mills, because of monopoly and corruption.
