On a point of order, Mr. Speaker, Sir. Is Sen. (Dr.) Khalwale in order to mislead this House that once regulations are published, pursuant to the PPP Act, they must be domesticated in the county assemblies? That is not the case. Once regulations are tabled in this House, they are addressed by this House. As the Committee on Delegated Legislation, we will deal with them. Once we are done there is no need for domestication by the county assemblies. Is he in order?

Mr. Temporary Speaker, Sir, it is not true that the Government has not been committed in fighting corruption. In fact, they have supported the various independent institutions such as the EACC and the Judiciary. Any other attempt by the Jubilee Government to push that agenda beyond, would amount to interference. Therefore, I would like to inform the Opposition that, we, as Government, can only do as much.
