• 7 Oct 2015 in Senate: Thank you very much, Mr. Temporary Speaker, Sir. Concerning this question which has taken about three months, we have enough evidence to prove that the money was not banked. According to Annexture 32 of the Narok Petition, which was signed by one Chief Executive Officer of Mara Conservancy, Brian Heath, he has admitted in writing that the money was not deposited into their account. The Auditor-General also confirms in his report that the money was not a deposited into their account. What else does the Committee need? • 17 Sep 2015 in Senate: Mr. Speaker, Sir, this is the fifth time I am demanding a Statement from the Chairperson on County Public Accounts and Investments Committee (CPAIC) concerning some contracts in Narok County. It is about two months and I have not received any response. The longer this Statement delays, the more the people of Narok suffer because their properties are being auctioned and some people are sickly. I request you to order the Chairperson to address this issue as quickly as possible. view

Some of the contractors are admitted in hospital because of pressure. People have not been paid and their properties are being auctioned. Therefore, this issue needs a lot of attention. The projects below were launched for commencement by the County Government of Narok during the Financial Year 2013/2014:- These are: Grading of Eor-Ekule-Sakutiek Road, Siyiapei-Olchoro Road, Enengeetia-Olpusimoru Road and Naroosura-Morijo Road. Construction of Mulot Bridge to connect the old Mulot Centre with Bomet side of town at Emalo River. Construction of Olare-Orok Bridge along Olare-Orok Stream at Koiyaki of Maasai region; Naroosura. • 16 Jun 2015 in Senate: Mr. Speaker, Sir, I also take this opportunity to support the petitioners from Mandera. My only worry and disappointment is how these petitions are being handled, for example, the Petition from Narok. There were some funds; about Kshs54 million was identified by the Auditor-General to have been misappropriated but no action was taken. The Committee also sat on that information whereas the people of Narok are also frustrated. I urge the Committee concerned to be impartial and open because there were some question marks when issues were brought before that Committee. view

After going through the Report, I realized that according to the Auditor-General, the Report omitted answering Petition No. 8 which was the bottom line of the Petition.
