The Ministry of Education must be held to account. We expect nothing less from the Committee on Education but a very thorough investigation into this. We must know what has caused this kind of decision and what exactly this Ministry is doing or not doing.

Mr. Speaker, Sir, I also rise to ask that the distinguished Senator of Bungoma County either withdraws and apologises or substantiates what he means by there being Jubilee A and B. As the Whip of the Jubilee party in this House, I am not aware that there are Jubilee A and Jubilee B factions.

This issue also affects Nakuru County, considering that Itare Dam is in my County. I am also taken aback by the kind of public relations stunts that we are seeing with the Director of Criminal (DCI), the media and the hype that we are seeing all over the country. I am just wondering. It just seems as though these are political, and there is no evidence that seems to be tabled. If anything, I would expect that the DCI and the DPP would be talking after the convictions have already been achieved in court so that their evidence is not interfered with.

We, the undersigned, citizens of the Republic of Kenya and residents of Nakuru County, draw the attention of the Senate to the following- (1) THAT, on the night of 6th February, 2019, officials from the Nakuru County Government rounded up 41 street children from Nakuru Town, held them in detention and, later that night, drove them into Chemasusu Forest in Baringo County, where they dropped them off in groups of fours and fives, each group approximately a kilometer apart; (2) THAT, the said street children were ferried to Chemasusu Forest using two county government registered vehicles; that is, KBR 801U ...
