I was keenly interested in the state of the economy and the President said for the first quarter, the GDP of the country has grown by about 10 per cent. This tarmac road in my constituency was started during the Grand Coalition Government. I can categorically say that I am among the few constituencies who have never seen even 500 meters of a tarmac road since the Jubilee Government started. Secondly, in the year 2018, I also brought a proposal on a Bill to amend the Constitution. That Bill was read in this House for the First Time in November 2019.   • 8 Jul 2021 in National Assembly: Legal Affairs. Since last year, for over 15 months, it has been awaiting to go through public participation. I am unable to find the reason it is not moving. The gist of that is that, although some of the provisions that I have proposed were captured in the BBI which must have slowed the process, I am requesting your kind intervention for this Bill to be expedited since nobody knows the way forward for the BBI.
