Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker, I am a very happy person. I have been waiting for this Bill for a long time. One reason is that private security employs many people from our own homes, schools and everywhere. All these people work under very hard conditions and there are no regulations. Their lives and welfare are at the whims of the employers. For the first time now, we have put a law that is going to regulate this huge industry that has not had regulations. THAT, pursuant to the provisions of Article 113(2) of the Constitution and Standing Order 150, this House adopts the Report of the Mediation Committee on the Consideration of the Climate Change Bill (National Assembly Bill No.1 of 2014), laid on the Table of the House on Wednesday, 13th April, 2016, and approves the Mediated Version of the Climate Change Bill, 2014.
