13 Oct 2010 in National Assembly:
Thank you, Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir. You have heard the sentiments from the Prime Minister and I am sure the Prime Minister is very well travelled. I think Kenya is where countries like Dubai were in 1995/1996, where, to travel from one end of Dubai to the other was almost impossible. That is where we find ourselves today. Why can the Government not consider, just like Dubai did, to have modern train tubes alongside vehicular traffic in Nairobi? You will also see in places like the USA that there are lanes for high occupancy vehicles. You will find that in ...

13 Oct 2010 in National Assembly:
. We had occasion to propose double decker buses only to ply in the streets of Nairobi. If these things are put into place--- It does not cost a lot of money; it will take just half the worth of Anglo Leasing or Goldenberg to be able to do these things in the streets of Nairobi.

5 Oct 2010 in National Assembly:
Mr. Speaker, Sir, is it not a shame that three years later, people are still living in camps? Could the Minister confirm that all the Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) will be resettled? Recently, the Government spent Kshs350 million to promulgate the Constitution while we still have Kenyans living in camps. Could the Government confirm that by a certain time they will have settled all the IDPs?

9 Oct 2007 in National Assembly:
Mr. Temporary Deputy Chairman, Sir, the Minister is dragging us on this matter. He has not said anything new on this issue. We dealt with this issue last year. We are dealing with it the same way we dealt with it last year. Could you put the Question, Mr. Temporary Deputy Chairman, Sir, so that we could move on?

15 Aug 2007 in National Assembly:
Mr. Speaker, Sir, I would like to thank the Assistant Minister because if you can remember, he said yesterday that he would issue this Ministerial Statement next week. I thank him for finding time to issue it today. However, from 30th July to today, it is 16 days. We know that the Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI), especially when they are looking for Kenyan terrorists, it takes them three to four days to find out where these suspects are. Why is it taking so long for the American Government, which is a superpower of this world, to unravel these murders?

15 Aug 2007 in National Assembly:
Mr. Speaker, Sir, I did indicate that the Ministry should actually give notice to foreigners, especially Kenyans in America that they are not safe there at all. Could he undertake to tell the House and Kenyans in general what exactly happened to the family of the late Kuria?

14 Aug 2007 in National Assembly:
Mr. Speaker, Sir, I rise on a point of order to seek a Ministerial Statement from the Minister for Foreign Affairs regarding the murder of a Kenyan family in Atlanta, United States of America (USA). Mr. Speaker, Sir, on 31st July, 2007, Jane Wanjiru Kuria and her daughters; Isabella and Anabella, were murdered in the USA. As Kenyans, to date we do not know what our Government or that of the USA has done in connection with the murder. Mr. Speaker, Sir, if you remember, when a celebrity; Johnson's wife and son were killed in USA, it was a major ...

14 Aug 2007 in National Assembly:
Mr. Speaker, Sir, this family was murdered on 31st July, 2007. The bodies of these young Kenyans are being flown into the country today to be buried on Friday. I am not asking for too much. If the Assistant Minister can, let him try give the Statement on Thursday, so that on the burial day, the family might have a chance to know what happened to their loved ones.
