  • 2 Oct 2012 in National Assembly: Yes, Mr. Speaker, Sir. When we asked the Question on the second person who went missing, or who was killed, he said that they would leave no stone unturned, and that they would make sure that there was security in Gatundu but a third person disappeared and came out dead. What is the Ministry doing to make sure that the people of Gatundu are safe? I would like him to tell the House in his Ministerial Statement tomorrow. view

  • 27 Sep 2012 in National Assembly: Mr. Speaker, Sir, the second one is about a Statement I asked from the Minister of State for Provincial Administration and Internal on Wednesday 6th. Last week the then Chair, the Deputy Speaker, asked the Minister to bring that Statement yesterday and it did not come. So, I was just wondering if you may direct that the Minister may bring it either today or probably Tuesday if it is not ready. view
  • 27 Sep 2012 in National Assembly: Mr. Speaker, Sir, I do not think I have a choice. But it is important to note that this Ministerial Statement was about the disappearance of a matatu operator in Gatundu. I asked for this Statement on 30th August. The first time it came, Mr. Kimunya the Minister sitting here today did undertake to communicate to Minister Haji. The following time it came, Minister Beth Mugo did the same thing. So, I hope this time the Minister will be able to come and tell the House the whereabouts of this young man and whether security will be enhanced in Gatundu. view
  • 25 Sep 2012 in National Assembly: Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir, I wish to seek the indulgence of the Chair. On Wednesday 19th September, I asked the Chair, yourself, as you were then, to help me get a Ministerial Statement from the Minister of State for Provincial Administration and Internal Security regarding insecurity in Gatundu and the disappearance of a matatu operator. You ordered that that Ministerial Statement be given on Thursday afternoon and it was not given. Now that the Minister is here, could we get that Statement today? view
  • 25 Sep 2012 in National Assembly: Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir, I do not think I have any stress, but if you remember, you had asked the Minister for Public Health and Sanitation, hon. Mugo, to communicate to the Government because it has many Ministers. But really, do I have a choice? view
