  • 27 Mar 2018 in National Assembly: Thank you, Hon. Deputy Speaker. And thank you, Hon. Tiren. This is a serious matter. I see two things here, namely, either we have poor planning on the part of the Ministry and those who are concerned or we have sabotage. There could be sabotage from the so-called cartels to ensure that we have poor harvests so that they are able to get market where they can sell whatever they get from outside. I wish to ask the Ministry and the Committee of Agriculture and Livestock to take this matter seriously. Otherwise, our future in terms of food security will ... view
  • 26 Sep 2017 in National Assembly: Thank you, Hon. Deputy Speaker for the opportunity so that I can also contribute. Kenya is a beautiful country. Kenya is greater than anyone of us. • 26 Sep 2017 in National Assembly: Protect me, Hon. Deputy Speaker. There is a lot of noise. Kenya is a great country. Kenya is one country that we need to guard for the sake of our people and future. I have listened to the Members contributing and on the part of the Minority Party, there is a lot of dishonesty. I have been waiting for just one word from every Member of the Opposition. I thought their last words would be that they would resign immediately after this session. You are condemning the IEBC yet you are a product of the same as a Member of ... view
  • 26 Sep 2017 in National Assembly: Thank you very much, Hon. Deputy Speaker. At this point in time, I want to suggest, for the sake of a better Kenya in future, to support the IEBC. Let us come up with strategies that will strengthen it instead of condemning it. After all, we are a product of the IEBC. We want to remind Hon. Babu Owino that he is no longer in student leadership at the university. He is an Hon. Member. Therefore, in everything that he does and every word he mentions, it should be honourable. He should respect Kenyans. view

  • 13 Sep 2017 in National Assembly: Hon. Deputy Speaker, I take this opportunity to thank you for giving me this chance to contribute to the Motion before us. I am the Member for Chesumei Constituency in Nandi County. I congratulate you and Hon. Speaker for your re-election as the leadership of this House. We believe in you and hope that you will do a good job because you have done it before. I equally congratulate the Members in this House for getting opportunity to serve Kenyans. I thank the people of Chesumei. It was not easy, but they trusted and believed in me to represent them ... view
  • 13 Sep 2017 in National Assembly: In his Speech, one of the things I noticed is that he loves this country and he believes in the people of Kenya. Our President has good intentions for this country. He respects the rule of law and the Constitution. The fact that he came here to open this House yesterday tells us that he believes that this country should go on despite the challenges which we might be facing. Therefore, I want to thank him and ask everybody else to shelf their personal interests for the sake of this country. To the people of Chesumei, I know more--- view
