The refugees are here under our own protection. They are also victims of the conflict in Somalia. Should he not concentrate on the issue of Nairobi’s insecurity?

asked the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Local Government:- (a) whether he is aware of the failure by the Nairobi City Council to provide basic services such as garbage collection; (b) whether he is also aware that garbage has piled up in many areas of Kamukunji posing a threat to the health and well being of both residents and visitors, and, (c) what action he is taking to ensure that the Nairobi City Council collects garbage timely and improves the sanitation situation in the constituency.
