    Hon. Senators, let us determine if we have a quorum although I can quite obviously see that we do not have a quorum.

  • (The Clerk-at-the-Table consulted with the Speaker)

    I am informed that there is no quorum. I order that the Division Bell be rung.

  • (The Division Bell was rung)

    Hon. Senators, we still have no quorum. So, I direct that the Bell be rung for another five minutes.

    Hon. Senators, under Standing Order No.34(2), we still have no quorum. In the circumstances, the House stands adjourned until 2.30 p.m., today, Wednesday, 2nd October, 2013.
