  • DEFERMENT OF THE CONSIDERATION OF THE DIVISION OF REVENUE BILL

  • James Kembi Gitura (The Deputy Speaker)

Hon. Senators, I have a short communication to make. Hon. Senators, as you are aware, we adjourned this morning to resume in the afternoon to deliberate on the Division of Revenue Bill (National Assembly Bill No.15, 2014). That is why we are here now. Hon. Senators, subsequently, there have been developments that have necessitated the Speaker to direct that the consideration of the Bill be deferred. The Speaker, therefore, directs the House to be adjourned until a date to be notified to you in the usual manner as set out in the Standing Orders. Thank you.

  • James Kembi Gitura (ADJOURNMENT The Deputy Speaker)

Hon. Senators, as I have stated in the communication, the House shall stand adjourned until such a date that the House shall be informed of in the usual manner. The House is, therefore, adjourned until a date that the House shall be informed of in the usual manner. The Senate rose at 3.35 p.m. The electronic version of the Senate Hansard Report is for information purposes only. A certified version of this Report can be obtained from the Hansard Editor, Senate.
