I think it is important that we change the mindset of the colonial Government where wildlife was more important than humans. I remember about two years ago, we lost lives in Kajiado and the Government was more focused on where the lions were and not on how to compensate the lives lost. view

The Kshs50,000 that is meant to be compensation is way less than the value of the property. Equally on that note, when you see the intentions of the interventions, I think it is also important that we focus on bringing more Bills to this House. In as much as it is good to have Motions but they just urge the Government. Bills will become Acts of Parliament and they will be implemented.
