  • 24 Jul 2007 in National Assembly: Mr. Speaker, Sir, I will surely "push" this man! He says they are not collecting rates. What is this I have here? Secondly, these people were allocated this piece of land by the Governor of Kenya in 1913 at an annual rate of 13 Rupees payable quarterly in advance. Could he tell us under what terms Nyeri Municipal Council is collecting rates if those people with title deeds have not been allotted plots? Could he further tell us who are the rightful owners of this piece of land? I do not really understand how people live in Majengo Estate because ... view
  • 11 Jul 2007 in National Assembly: On a point of order, Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir. Would I be in order to ask the Questioner to tell us who these "outsiders" are? view
  • 11 Jul 2007 in National Assembly: Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir, I am happy to hear that the Assistant Minister is aware that most of the street lights, not only in Kerugoya-Kutus, are not working. If that is done, it will reduce crime and the number of people who die as a ... view

  • 10 Jul 2007 in National Assembly: Mr. Speaker, Sir, I do not think we are reading from the same page, considering the answer I have. However, could the Minister inform us who the original owners of Uplands Bacon Factory are? view
  • 10 Jul 2007 in National Assembly: He has not answered my question! Does he know the difference between the shareholders and the owners of Uplands Bacon Factory? Who owns Uplands Bacon Factory? Were there any original shareholders who owned the assets? view
  • 10 Jul 2007 in National Assembly: Mr. Speaker, Sir, could the Minister, though unable to answer the Question fully, inform us whether the Government intends to start another factory to assist Kenyans because Farmers Choice are running a monopoly organisation and they are not fair to Kenyan farmers who are keeping pigs? view
