I would like to point out to the Standing Committee on Labour and Social Welfare one of the key promises that this administration made to the people of Kenya, on the issue of labour bilateral with other countries. It will be important to know how many have been fulfilled, the challenges that we have and why that programme has not taken off. Remember that foreign direct investment and remittance by fellow countrymen, who are working out of the country, recently overtook even our horticultural products in terms of growth of our GDP.
