Mr. Temporary Speaker Sir, that a very dangerous statement to be left on record, where he says he wants to bring her to me. That was not the request. I thought, first of all, that song was sung by a team, a lady and a gentleman, not a lady alone. The electronic version of the Senate Hansard Report is for information purposesonly. Sen. Mungatana, we had requested that given the contribution that that team from Tana River made to the UDA party, it would be proper for them to be properly recognized. Probably, if there was a misunderstanding, then I want to make it now properly to you, Sen. Mungatana, that those young people need to be recognized by our Party. Between you and I, we can get them to the party headquarters and have them listened to on the exact kind of reward they expected from us when we formed government. The point I was trying to make overall is the ...

Mr. Speaker, Sir, before I proceed with this Statement, let me take this opportunity to welcome hon. Senators back from the short recess. I hope they took time to rest, spend time with their families and friends, reconnect with their constituents and rejuvenate themselves for Part III of the Fourth Session. I hope they noted the order of those activities. How they are scripted was quite intentional. Mr. Speaker, Sir, while some progress was made in Part II of the Session, which saw the Senate pass seven Bills, we still have a long way to go in processing legislative business. ...

Thank you, Mr. Deputy Speaker, for accommodating me because I realize that Question No.064 may not be that related to what I wanted to ask. Since the Cabinet Secretary was still speaking on this issue of TSC, I felt this would be the appropriate time. So, I want to appreciate this opportunity. So, I welcome the Cabinet Secretary for the chance to interact with the representatives of the people. I have a specific question with regards to TSC. It is something that you could probably answer now, or grant an opportunity to send in the feedback later, given that it ...

I know that there are parts of this country by advantage of proximity to power or one way or the other, they have teachers that have been absorbed, graduates up to us late as I think 2017 or 2018. However, the other parts of the country where you find graduates even as late as 2010, or 2011 still unemployed. Can the Cabinet Secretary provide this data from TSC with a breakdown of all the 47 counties on what is the year of graduation that TSC is now implementing across those counties giving the reason for the disparity where you find ...

Madam Temporary Speaker, mine is totally unrelated, but you know citizens are following what we are doing here. One of the people who employed me, that is my constituent, has just sent me a text message. This is what they are saying. The person works as a police officer. While they paid teachers who were involved in marking KCSE, police officers who provided security for the containers carrying examinations have not been paid up to date. Those are five months after the examination was released, but they are still waiting for their pay. They asked me to bring it to ...

Mr. Speaker, Sir, on behalf of the people of Kericho County, I join my colleagues in extending our deepest sympathy to the family of the late Hon. Charles Ong’ondo Were, our departed colleague and a truly amiable gentleman. I knew him well and often referred to him as our son-in-law, because his wife comes from the neighboring county of Bomet. I expected Sen. Wakili Sigei to mention this. I was with him just a few days ago, before his demise. There was a request he had made to the Head of State, which had been referred to me for assistance. ...
