I must admit that I had very keen interest in this Bill and I am really glad that it has seen the light of day. Definitely, this will stand out as one of the most outstanding pieces of legislation to emerge out of the Tenth Parliament. I really applaud Dr. Laboso. view

He has been a champion of this process and I hope that even as we conclude our term, the Chair and his Committee will ensure that every single cent due to all CDFs across the country will be released and expended before we conclude our term. view

At the same time, we should be careful not to carry over the bureaucracies and the restrictions that come with the process that was intended to be flexible and community driven. I would propose that one of the innovations that we could attempt in this regard is to have a Committee elected by the communities but under the view
