It is a very important and crucial Statement that touches so many lives in this country. Concerning the drought issue, if nothing is done very soon, we are worried that we might lose many lives. We have already lost animals, but many people may die out of that drought due to famine. Senator from Kitui, I would like to inform the House of the terrible drought and famine. Those camels belong to Kenyans. Therefore, we would appreciate if they are taken care of by our brothers and sisters in Kitui. view

Equally, those animals have the right to graze in those places. With due consideration, I request the Senator of Kitui, Sen. Wambua, to be lenient and consider the situation. Today, those animals are faced with death, the owners stressed with famine and they need to keep the animals alive.
