  • 14 Nov 2018 in National Assembly: It was similar because it had security issues but they said they had nothing to do with land boundaries. If this goes to the Departmental Committee on Lands, I hope, I will not be told it is under the Ministry of Interior and Coordination of National Government. • 17 Oct 2018 in National Assembly: , (North Imenti, JP): Thank you, Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker. Even though we are debating another Motion, I had wished to contribute to the previous one. I agree with Hon. Caleb that we need to have a policy in place on how we can expand our public schools. We even need a policy whereby for schools in urban centers that have no more land to expand, the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology should set aside funds to facilitate the schools to grow structurally because in urban centers it is difficult to get land. • 4 Oct 2018 in National Assembly: When they reported about Members of Parliament receiving Ksh10,000 bribe, my name appeared in that newspaper and I was in Meru on that day. So, I wondered where they got my name from. Therefore, I think this matter should be taken up by the Ministry of Interior and Coordination of National Government so that the police can arrest the people distributing and not the printers only. It should be thrown in the dustbin. view

  • 3 Oct 2018 in National Assembly: Thank you, Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker. I would want to support this Motion, but there are a few things that the Mover of the Motion said that I need to correct. He said that the betting tax was reduced. He talked of 35 per cent. I believe he did not understand it. It was never reduced. What was done was re-allocation. The 35 per cent still stands. It is the 35 per cent in the sense that 15 per cent is tax on the betting companies and 20 per cent goes to those who win the bets. For example, the ... view
