Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker, that is his opinion and I will not fight with him because he has got a different way of thinking which does not augur well with me. Regarding our youth, it is very important that we have the incubation centres together with seed funding for the youth because right now, we have the Chandaria incubation centre. We need to come up with ways on how we are going to encourage our youth to be innovative. A case in point would be if you were to invest in youth programmes in the people who graduate in the ...

nobody to invest in your innovations. It all goes down the drain and somebody else takes advantage of what you have done. Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker, I support this Motion and ask the Jubilee Government, because it will win in the 2017 elections, to set aside money similar to that of the Uwezo Fund so that we can assist our youth come up with innovations. That way we will move this country forward in realizing Vision 2030. With those few remarks, I support. Thank you, Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker.

Thank you, Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker. First of all, let me thank Hon. Odanga, the sponsor of the “Kaimenyi Motion”. He is a good friend. I appreciate what happened last year but we managed. I support the Motion because it is timely. We need to inculcate religious values in our school-going children. I even request Hon. Odanga to see if we can also include Imams because schools have lost the moral fabric. Today, students burn schools. That never happened previously. We need to check on radicalization in our schools. What Hon. Odanga has proposed is very good. The Motion should ...

Thank you, Hon. Speaker. I want to congratulate the Mover of the Petition. It is well-known that private individuals grab public property, but sometimes it is State actors like the Kenya Forest Service (KFS) who grab property from my people in Kithoka. wonder where to take up the issue. There was a boundary, but after 50 years, they want to move the boundary into people’s farms. We have another problem where Tharaka Nithi County is trying to grab land from Meru County. We need to sort that issue as well. I support the Motion. We will talk to the Departmental Committee on Lands as well.

Thank you, Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker. I first want to support the Bill proposed by the Member for my neighbouring county, Hon. Muthomi Njuki. It is a very good Bill regarding the opening of the Kenyatta Mausoleum to the public. When I was young, I remember going to State House when the President was lying in State for everybody to view the body. I remember standing in the queue for a very long time. I eventually made it and saw the body of the President lying in State. That was one of the biggest moments of my youth. It is ...
