• 21 Sep 2021 in National Assembly: The final observation made by the Committee was that the government is aware of international trends in co-operative development and notes that intergovernmental forums are critical in the cooperative sector to facilitate growth while keeping abreast with the trends to the extent possible whilst having regard to any particular local circumstances that must be taken into account from time to time. Speaker, the response is that Somalia is a sovereign state that makes its own independent decisions which they are not obligated to communicate to any other country in the event of a force majeure or in the event of events that are largely beyond the control of any person to deal with.
