  • 7 Jun 2017 in National Assembly: The PIC is established pursuant to Standing Order No. 206 and is responsible for the examination of the working of public investments. The Committee is mandated to examine reports and accounts of public investments. The Committee also examines reports of the Auditor-General on public investments and finally, the Committee examines in the context of autonomy of public investments whether they are being managed in accordance with sound financial or business principles and prudent commercial practices. view
