  • 22 Jul 2014 in National Assembly: Hon. Temporary Deputy Chairman, in the original Bill we are replacing the word “appointment” because the CEO can never be appointed. He or she should be recruited competitively. So, we are replacing the word “appointment” with the word “recruitment,” and then instead of taking it to the National Assembly, it should be taken to the Cabinet Secretary (CS) for final approval, but the Board should be able to recruit the CEO instead of the Cabinet Secretary doing so. view
