  • 26 May 2016 in National Assembly: The second last Clause 13 of the Bill proposes to amend the Act by inserting new sections providing that all persons, athletes and their support personnel shall be bound by the anti-doping rules. The athlete and his supporting personnel; his doctors, the manager and trainers must follow them. But just because some people in the Executive failed, we are now giving them a last chance. I asked the Senate leadership not to move any amendment; they passed this Bill as it was on 20th April, 2016 in the way it was passed in the National Assembly. Speaker, I beg to move and ask the Chair of the Committee, who represented Parliament in the high level rush to Montreal, to confirm to this House that the amendments in the Bill are not from anywhere.
