For example, areas like the counties of Garissa, Wajir and Mandera. There should be teams in places like Wajir where we have an international- level airport, from where they can respond to the furthest corners of the north eastern region, either way, within an hour or shorter time. I have always said in the House Business Committee that there is a complete disconnect between the Committees and Director of Committees. We have a memorandum here from the Director of Committees to the Principal Clerk Assistant, who is the head of the secretariat of the Departmental Committee on Agriculture, Livestock and Co-operatives, dated 21st April, 2015, which was yesterday.
