The HBC intends to give priority to Bills with constitutional timelines of May 27th, 2015. Next Tuesday, the House will consider the Senate amendments to the Division of Revenue Bill, 2015, and the Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Bill, 2014, in a Committee of the whole House. view
  • 16 Apr 2015 in National Assembly: Hon. Deputy Speaker, on the same day, the House will consider the Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Bill, 2014 in a Committee of the whole House. The Fair Administration Action Bill, 2015, will also be slotted for consideration by a Committee of the whole House next week. Also to be considered on the same day is the Report of the Fifth Ordinary Session of the Pan-African Parliament (PAP). It is necessary that the Report is considered by the House, ahead of His Excellency the President’s Address to the PAP mid-May, 2015. view
  • 16 Apr 2015 in National Assembly: Next week, the House will consider the Senate’s amendments to the Public Service (Values and Principles) Bill, 2014, and the Environmental Management and Co- ordination (Amendment) Bill, 2014. The Bills have constitutional timelines. The Senate amendments were received yesterday. It is, therefore, the hope of the HBC that the Departmental Committee on Administration and National Security, and the Committee on Environment and Natural Resources, will have concluded consideration of the amendments.
