We have told them that the last chance we are giving to that Committee is this week. We expect them to table their Report on Wednesday next week, so that we can do the Second Reading of the Bill.

Chair of the Committee on Budget, it has been a long process; it has been a process that has seen the Parliamentary Budget Committee work tirelessly for the whole month of May and beyond in order to comply with the Constitutional timeline as we are doing today. This Budget also addresses a number of other issues that are of importance to our security forces. That is the issue of housing to the Police Force. This has also been budgeted for and it goes a long way to say that Kenyans are committed to stand by their security forces so that they can do their job well.
