Hon. Temporary Deputy Chairman, I beg to move:- THAT, Clause 85 be amended by − (a) renumbering the existing provision as Sub-clause (1); and (b) inserting the following new Sub-clause immediately after Sub-clause (1) − “(2) Custody and maintenance of children of an Islamic marriage shall be dealt with in accordance with the Children Act, Islamic Law and any other written law relating to children.”
