People out there and in the media have been saying Parliament is not working. I want to confirm to them that we are not like other Houses. Our committees work, and then we come and ratify. An amount of Kshs10 billion has been provided for cash transfers to vulnerable Kenyans to cushion them against the hard economic effects. As other Members have said, that money must be given in a transparent and accountable manner. An amount of Kshs13.1 billion has been provided to various Government agencies for payment of verified pending bills.
