Hon. Temporary Deputy Chairlady, I want to offer leadership. One, the substantive Speaker said, “at the expiry of Order No.13.” Secondly, hon. Chairlady you said that if hon. Jakoyo Midiwo is honest with his amendment then you are ready to allow us to work on it. This is a very mischievous amendment!

Hon. Speaker, Sir, before you came we were in the Committee of the whole House and the hon. Jakoyo raised a fundamental thing that let us deal with the Committee of the whole House tomorrow, Thursday. Some of the hon. Members disagreed with that and the Committee Chair reported that the House doth adjourn. The Standing Orders are very clear – the House doth adjourn to the next sitting and that was what was put to Question. Those who will agree for the House to adjourn will vote “yes”. Thank you, hon. Speaker, Sir. I think the Member was got off- guard. He has to get the Papers to lay and give notice of Motion. I think we can do it in the afternoon. He can check with the Chairperson of the Committee and do it in the afternoon. This is because the Member does not have any Paper to lay and give notice of Motion.
