  • 12 Jun 2013 in National Assembly: fertilizers will consume Kshs2.7 billion. This is required to cater for the provision of subsidized fertilizers. We want the Government to reduce fertilizer prices from Kshs3,800 for CAN to Kshs1,600. I want to thank the Cabinet Secretary for Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries for attaining that. The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission has been allocated Kshs0.95 billion. This is required to cater for the Makueni senatorial by-election and three by-elections held in Homabay, Kajiado and Murang’a in 2012.
