What is your intervention? I am still contributing. Hon. Kioni, you have done well. You have solved the problem I had for many years. I will support this Bill, but we will amend it. As Hon. Junet said, we will have to look for a place for elders. We will tell Hon. Kamanda to behave well until we finish debating this Bill. I support.

15 Oct 2019 in National Assembly:
On a point of order, Hon. Speaker. Is Hon. Mishra properly dressed? One of the newspapers referred to this House as a Pentecostal something. He looks as if he is in a Sikh temple. We need to be very careful. That shawl is not part of the dress code in Parliament. He needs to explain to us about it. Some Members will come with blankets when the weather is chilly.

9 Oct 2019 in National Assembly:
Hon. Speaker, Hon. Sankok has raised a serious matter that the Chair of the Departmental Committee on Labour and Social Welfare, where he is a Member, can call both the Cabinet Secretary for Public Service, Youth and Gender and the Cabinet Secretary for Education to deal with. He is a Member of the Departmental Committee on Labour and Social Welfare. You can call the Cabinet Secretaries, Prof. Kobia and Prof. Magoha, and ask them why they are violating what the House has passed. He should not request for a Statement because he is a Member of that Committee. Now that ...

The other Questions, which again I read last week, will go to the Cabinet Secretary for Lands, who will appear to respond to Questions from Hon. Caleb Amisi, Hon. Moses Kirima and Hon. Peter Kihara. The Chair of the Departmental Committee on Lands is here. She will tell us whether the Cabinet Secretary came and what happened. Is it that the Members did not come? I cannot be reading Questions every week.

The same applies to the Cabinet Secretary for Infrastructure and Urban Development. He will answer Questions from Charles Njagua, Hon. Peter Kihara and Hon. Joseph Kandie. I read them last week. The Chair of the Departmental Committee on Transport, Public Works and Housing is sitting next to me. He is busy with his phone. He will tell us whether the Cabinet Secretary appeared, the Chair was absent or the Members were absent. Those are the only ones. If we follow this document, it is the same Cabinet Secretaries I am calling every Thursday.
