For example, there is no way the Clerk of the National Assembly will not remit my Pay As You Earn (PAYE) to KRA. This House and the Budget and Appropriations Committee must ensure that, in the next financial year, the Government must link the KRA database to the Integrated Financial Management Information System (IFMIS), so that whenever a contractor in the counties is paid money, the Government gets its money. They cannot tell us that counties must be given funds immediately and say that the commencement date should be upon the publication of the Act. The people of Garissa will not allow it to happen. I will talk to my Senator, Sen. Haji. They will not come and enjoy themselves in Garissa. You carry his toilet, special tent and special chairs. How can the Senate go and dine with the Governor of Kitui who we know is the mother of corruption in Kitui County? How?
