Thank you, Hon. Deputy Speaker. Kenyans in the diaspora have been taken for a ride for a long time. They contribute billions of shillings to the economy and to the Exchequer, and it is very sad that we are talking about them. This Petition is valid, because even those doing business under this Government want to migrate to neighbouring countries. I want to assure this country that the Kenya Kwanza government will establish a Cabinet Secretary or Principal Secretary’s position for diaspora, just like in Malaysia, Indonesia and many other countries.
