This was the longest Statute Law (Miscellaneous Amendments) Bill that has come to this House during my life as a Member of Parliament, in the 10th and 11th Parliaments. It was dealing with over 65 statutes. I thank Members who stayed on Tuesday last week, Wednesday afternoon and Thursday morning and afternoon until midnight. Because we had two or three issues which we did not sort out, including the amendment by my very good friend, the Member for Kikuyu… We know the reason why we brought that amendment and he knows it. view
