I hope that tomorrow morning, from 9.30 a.m, we will move so that we finish. We will finish tomorrow in the morning, so that we can slot the Public Investments Committee (PIC) Report and other reports for the afternoon session. view

There must be an investigation by the Powers and Privilege Committee on why Members are using other Members’ cards. view

• 13 Nov 2018 in National Assembly: Hon. Speaker, number one, Hon. Maanzo must declare his interest in a matter of this nature. I want to say this Bill is before the House properly. He purports to speak for the Cabinet Secretary and the Principal Secretary. This Bill came from the Cabinet. We have a Cabinet Memo which came through the Attorney-General. I have just shared it with the Chair of the Committee. He wants to speak for the Cabinet Secretary and the Principal Secretary. • 13 Nov 2018 in National Assembly: When a Government Bill is before the House, the Cabinet Secretary can only do what the Cabinet Secretary for Health did in the Health Laws (Amendments) Bill. She brought a letter requesting that we step down the radiation laws and a number of other Bills. That is a record that is available in the Clerk’s Office and in my office. What Hon. Maanzo is saying about that Cabinet Secretary and Principal Secretary can be treated as rumours. If he feels that he has a problem with the Bill, it will go through a Committee of the whole House.
