I remember that this is an amendment we discussed at length with Hon. Nassir, colleagues from the Ministry of Energy and Petroleum and Kenya Power. If you look at the amendment and the Reservation by His Excellency the President, you will find that he has made a step. It is for us now to improve it through amendments to the Regulations. This is a matter that is of concern to Kenyans. If you look at the President’s Reservation that has now replaced the one by Hon. Nassir, you will realise that it takes care of both consumers and the KP. ... view

Nassir’s amendment, the advice given to him by the Attorney-General and the Ministry of Energy and Petroleum and what the Member desired to achieve through his amendment. view
