John Kihagi who is an experienced physical planner, a surveyor and an expert on that particular line. We also chose Hon. Shakila Abdallah, Hon. George Oner who is also a surveyor, Hon. Eusilah Ngeny and Hon. Francis Nderitu who is a valuer to make sure that they follow up the trail of records as they were represented by the Ministry of Lands, Housing and Urban Development and NLC. I will be quick enough, so that I can give some time for Members to contribute. Confusion that is arising is that a will had been deposited with the Barclays Bank by Arnold Bradley and it was registered as a probate in that particular bank. Mr. Da Gama Rose, was a lawyer for this particular bank, the Barclays Bank. In the purported transfers around and about 2005, he appears to be one of the people dealing ... view

  • 17 Jun 2015 in National Assembly: After the Committee had been seized of the matter, some individuals decided to go to court, and I indicated that we recommended that a forensic audit then be done to authenticate the records that are contained in the Ministry of Lands, Housing and Urban Development and in the National Land Commission (NLC), to know whether the entries are right or wrong and the records are in the right trail. So, we recommended that the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) and the Criminal Investigations Department (CID), who had earlier appeared in our Committee do that forensic investigation and auditing of these ... view
