Amason Kingi

Hon. Amason Kingi was the first Governor of Kilifi County where he served for two terms. He becomes the third Speaker of the Senate since 2013.

Payment cheques were forwarded to the Assistant Director of KEFRI, Kisumu on 10th September, 2010 to be paid through the Provincial Labour Officer in Kisumu. Mr. Speaker, Sir, the latest information I have is that the cheques have been collected by the beneficiaries. view

  • 11 Aug 2010 in National Assembly: Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir, the total allocation for the Ministry requested from the Exchequer for both Recurrent and Development votes during the Financial Year 2010/2011 is Kshs977,679,595 and Kshs204,000,400, respectively, making a total of Kshs1,182,597,595. Of the Development Vote, Kshs140 million was to come from the GoK while Kshs64,400,000 was to come from donors. However, the total Exchequer allocation for the Financial Year 2010/2011 for the Recurrent Vote is Kshs898,436,800 and Kshs129,400,000 for Development Vote, making a total of Kshs1,027,836,800.
