Hon. Amason Kingi was the first Governor of Kilifi County where he served for two terms. He becomes the third Speaker of the Senate since 2013.

(a) Further to the information that I gave last week about this Question, we have carried out further investigations and found out that the mother of the above named child, Ms. Rael Cherobon Chepkwony, escaped from lawful custody, and abandoned the said child at Kabiyet Police Station. She has admitted escaping from lawful police custody, and abandoned her child through, a sworn affidavit. We have a copy of that affidavit.
