• 29 Apr 2021 in National Assembly: Hon. Speaker, allow me to explain the delay of the submission of Budget Estimates which were ready. It was based on the court ruling which said that the Budget Estimates could not be introduced before the Division of Revenue Bill is passed. Hence, the National Treasury was waiting for its passage in this House to submit the Budget Estimates, so that it could not contravene that court ruling. That was the whole essence.
